Glossary

Degen: Degen is a term used to describe individuals or participants in the crypto space who take high risks and engage in speculative investments or activities with potentially high rewards.

DNS: DNS stands for Domain Name System, which is a decentralized system that translates domain names into IP addresses, allowing users to access websites and online services by using human-readable domain names instead of numeric IP addresses.

Smart-Contract: A smart contract is a self-executing contract with the terms of the agreement directly written into lines of code. It automatically enforces the terms and conditions of the contract, eliminating the need for intermediaries and enhancing security and efficiency in transactions on blockchain networks.

DAO: DAO stands for Decentralized Autonomous Organization. It refers to an organization or entity that operates based on smart contracts and blockchain technology, allowing for decentralized decision-making, governance, and operations without the need for centralized authorities.

Seed-phrase: A seed phrase, also known as a recovery phrase or mnemonic phrase, is a set of words generated during the creation of a cryptocurrency wallet. It serves as a backup and recovery method, allowing users to restore their wallet and access their funds in case of loss or device failure.

Soulbound Tokens: Soulbound tokens are digital tokens or assets that are bound to a specific user or account. They cannot be transferred or traded freely like other fungible tokens, as they are permanently linked to the owner. Soulbound tokens are often used in games or virtual worlds to represent unique and rare items tied to a specific user's account.
