OCM Dimensions

Danny and Mike share the same ethos that great things are only accomplished alongside thoughtful people. Danny is a crypto OG and a natural founder, having created everything from the Stanford Bitcoin Meetup to the largest exchange in Taiwan and On-Chain Monkeys. Mike began as a community member, finding the true meaning of community inside OCM and wanting to participate in it. Together, they disrupt tech and bring novelty alongside the OCM project and its community, which is now entering a new stage with Dimensions.

Glossary

ERC-1155: ERC-1155 is a token standard on the Ethereum blockchain that allows for the creation of both fungible and non-fungible tokens. It provides a more efficient way to manage multiple token types within a single contract, reducing costs and complexity.

IPFS: IPFS, short for InterPlanetary File System, is a decentralized protocol for storing and sharing files on a distributed network. It uses a content-addressable system, where each file is identified by its unique hash, ensuring content integrity and enabling efficient file retrieval.

Ordinals: Information inscribed on satoshi - similar to the ERC-721 standard on Bitcoin.

Mempool: The mempool, short for memory pool, is a temporary storage area in a cryptocurrency network where unconfirmed transactions are held. Miners or validators select transactions from the mempool to include in the next block of the blockchain.

BRC-20: BRC-20 is a token standard similar to the widely used ERC-20 on Bitcoin.

ENS: ENS, which stands for Ethereum Name Service, is a decentralized domain name system built on the Ethereum blockchain. It enables users to register and manage human-readable domain names ending in ".eth" that can be associated with Ethereum addresses, smart contracts, and other resources.
